On August 11, 2024, Takushiho Avenue (Prefectural Route 6) transforms into a lively parade ground filled with Eisa performances and festive energy. If you’re tired of mundane weekends and fancy something with a bit more flair, this is your event.
What’s Happening? 🎶🎭
The festival kicks off with the traditional Michi Junae procession, where the streets are taken over by colorful and dynamic Eisa groups. Unlike the usual stage performances, this is up close and personal, bringing all the excitement right to you. It’s like having a front-row seat to a parade that you didn’t know you needed!

5:00 PM: The festival opens with the Yomitan Village Takushiho Children’s Association. Watch the little ones steal the show!
5:15 PM: Catch the energetic performance from the Zakimi Youth Association. These kids mean business!
5:30 PM: Kadena Town (West District) Youth Association takes the stage. Expect some serious moves!
5:45 PM: Nakagusuku Village (Tsuhama) Youth Association brings their own flavor to the festivities.
6:00 PM: The Uza Youth Association from Yomitan Village joins in with their lively performance.

7:00 PM: Yomitan Village (Tokeji) Youth Association adds even more excitement to the mix.
7:15 PM: Finally, the Takushiho Youth Association from Yomitan Village closes out the parade with a bang.
