On April 19, 2025, you can catch the spectacular 22nd Ryukyu Fireworks Festival at the beautifully scenic Ginowan Tropical Beach! This isn’t just any fireworks show; it’s Japan’s earliest summer fireworks bash, lighting up the skies with a jaw-dropping 10,000 fireworks! 
What to Expect 
The festival kicks off with the theme “Experience the Most Moving Summer in Japan,” and since 2004, it has been a beloved tradition. This year, it’s going to be bigger and better, blending Okinawan music and cultural vibes with the brilliance of fireworks. 
Attendees will get to groove to tunes across generations, including classics like “Hai Yorokonde” and “Toki no Nagare ni Mi wo Yudane.” Get ready to dance, sway, and be mesmerized! And let’s not forget about the incredible design fireworks created by the renowned designer Junko Koshino alongside the talented crew from Marutamaya Kogatsu Fireworks. Talk about a jaw-dropper! 
Technical Wizardry 
Hold onto your hats because the event will utilize cutting-edge technology! 
Each firework will be launched using a computer, syncing perfectly with music and dazzling effects. Expect nothing less than an artistic and dynamic display that will leave you speechless.
