Get ready for a heartwarming experience at the Nanjo City Gift Shop with their Thank You Festival! This exciting event is happening on March 29 (Saturday) and March 30 (Sunday), 2025, from 10 AM to 4 PM. 
Event Location 
Join the fun at the Nanjo City Gift Shop, located at 539 Chinen Kute, Nanjō City, Okinawa. Make sure to arrive early because parking is a bit limited – better to hop on the N bus from Nanjō City Hall if you can!
What to Expect? 
This festival promises two full days of local flavors, fun performances, and lots of activities that’ll keep both kids and adults entertained! Expect fresh local vegetables to be sold, and don’t miss out on a special buffet at the restaurant on the second floor. Your taste buds will thank you later!
Throughout the event, there will be local students and groups showcasing their talents on stage. Watch out for a unique performance from Okinawa’s only GS (Group Sounds) band and even a live hero show! 
Plus, Nanjo City’s famous character will be around to join in on the fun! Children can engage in an epic mozuku seaweed picking challenge, and the gigantic squid disassembly show will have you marveling at the skills (and then you can taste it—yum)!

- 9:45 AM: Opening declaration and greetings
- 10 AM: Sashiki Junior High School Brass Band performance
- 10:30 AM: Dance by kindergarteners from Oozato Preschool
- 11 AM: Playtime with the popular character
- 11:30 AM: Squid disassembly show, with tasting!
- 1:30 PM: More fun with the popular character
- 2 PM: Sugar Hall Junior Chorus performance
- 2:30 PM: Ryukyu dance showcase
- 3:30 PM: Live music by yamatokono
March 30 (Sunday)
- 10 AM: Brass band performance continues!
- 10:30 AM: Dance performance by Black Monster
- 11 AM: Playtime again with the popular character
- 11:30 AM: Squid disassembly show returns!
- 1:30 PM: Karate demonstration
- 2 PM: Another chance to play with the popular character
- 3 PM: Live show by SS Company
- 3:40 PM: Exciting Mabuyer show!
