Mark your calendars because the 39th Kitnaka Festival and the 2024 Youth Eisa Festival are right around the corner! 🗓️ Taking place on October 12 (Saturday) and October 13 (Sunday) at the beautiful Shiosai Park in Kitnaka Village, this is one of the largest and most fun-filled festivals you won’t want to miss!

A Celebration of Culture and Fun! 🎊
Get ready to immerse yourself in a vibrant mix of dance, food, and traditional arts. Over two days, you’ll have the chance to watch lively performances, taste delicious local cuisine, and soak in the energetic atmosphere. It’s like a buffet for the senses! 🍽️✨
Day 1: Kitnaka Festival (October 12) 🥳
The first day is all about community spirit and entertainment. Expect a variety of performances featuring local talents, including kids showing off their karate skills, energetic street dance crews, and heartwarming traditional arts.
Highlight Performance: Shushin Kaneiri 🎭
One standout moment will be the traditional dance “Shushin Kaneiri,” featuring Wakamatsu Nakagusuku from Anjaya. Since 2021, locals have been rehearsing for this performance, and it promises to be a showstopper!
