Spring is just around the corner, and what better way to welcome it than with a riot of colors at the 43rd Higashi Village Azalea Festival? Mark your calendars for March 1 (Saturday) to March 20 (Thursday, holiday) in 2025! 🌼
What’s All the Buzz About? 🚀
Every March, the stunning azaleas in Yanbaru, Okinawa, burst into bloom, putting on a floral show that screams, “Spring has arrived!” The Higashi Village Community Forest Azalea Garden becomes a spectacle of approximately 50,000 azaleas dressed in vibrant shades of red, white, and pink. It’s like nature threw a party, and everyone’s invited! 🎉

Event Highlights 🌟
During the festival, not only can you take in the breathtaking blooms, but you’ll also have a chance to join some fun activities! How about learning a thing or two at the “How to Grow Azaleas” workshop? Great chance for those of you feeling inspired to bring a bit of that floral magic home! 🌿
Details You Need to Know 🗓️
The gardens are open from 9 AM to 5 PM (last entry at 4 PM), giving you plenty of time to stroll, snap pics, and soak in the beauty. If you’re planning to drive, there’s space for 450 cars, plus a special area for buses. 🚗
