  • Events

If you’re looking for something unique to brighten up your weekends and holidays, mark your calendars! From March 1 to May 25, 2025, the beautiful Nakagusuku Castle Ruins in Okinawa are set to transform into a dazzling nightscape with “LIMISA NAKAGUSUKU.” 🌌

This special event takes place on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, and as an added bonus, you’ll have the chance to experience this UNESCO World Heritage site like never before—with cutting-edge light and sound technology that creates a magical nighttime atmosphere. ✨

Event Highlights 🎉

Imagine roaming around this historical site after dark, where the beauty of the castle ruins meets the wonders of modern technology. This isn’t your typical stroll through the park; we’re talking about immersive installations that turn history into a festival of lights and sounds!

There are three spectacular sections to explore:

First Enclosure: Mystical Light and Harmony of Nature 🌿

This area was once home to the grandest ‘main hall’ of Nakagusuku Castle. Here, you will find the perfect blend of mystical lights and nature, setting the stage for a fantasy world like no other.

Second Enclosure: Fantasy World Unfolding with Light 🌈

Prepare to be amazed by eye-catching curvilinear stone walls, adorned with lights that dance and sparkle, creating a visual treat that complements the accompanying music.

Third Enclosure: Imagined Otherworld through Images and Sound

This is where the magic really happens! Projection mapping takes the stone walls to another level, transforming them into an awe-inspiring otherworldly experience. It’s immersive, it’s stunning, and it might just blow your mind!
