  • Events

Get ready for a weekend of fun, music, dance, and fireworks at the 47th Hagoromo Festival happening in Ginowan on September 28th (Sat) and 29th (Sun), 2024. This isn’t just any festival – it’s the biggest celebration in the city! With food stalls, games, and live performances, there’s something for everyone. Let’s dive into what you can expect!

What’s the Deal with the Hagoromo Festival?

The festival is named after the “Tennyo Legend” from Ginowan’s “Mori no Kawa” in Mashiki. It’s packed with energy and celebrates local culture in a big way. Picture it: delicious food, exciting games, live performances, and a chance to dance like nobody’s watching.

Day 1: September 28th (Saturday)

Day 1 kicks off with some amazing live performances! Get ready for bands like Kachimba, BLUE BLUE BLUE, and the legendary Kiiyama Shoten to light up the stage. These performances are guaranteed to get you moving and grooving, whether you’re a longtime fan or just here for a good time.

Day 2: September 29th (Sunday)

The fun continues with the 32nd Tobinsu Haninsu Kachāshī Competition! Imagine 50 dancers tearing up the stage in a massive Kachāshī performance that you won’t want to miss. And just when you think it can’t get any better, everyone’s invited to join in the Kachāshī dance at the end. Talk about community vibes!

Fireworks Finale 🌠

To wrap things up with a bang (literally), the festival ends with the Hagoromo Fireworks Festival. It’s the perfect way to say goodbye to summer with a sky full of colorful fireworks that’ll light up the night. Don’t forget to bring a camera!
