Motobu Town is gearing up to host its annual marine festival at two main locations: Tancha Park and Toguchi Port. The event is free, and so is the parking—yay for no extra costs! This year’s festival promises an exciting lineup of activities spread across two days.

Parent-Child Canoe Experience 🚣‍♀️

  • Near Ice Making Facility Opposite Motobu Fishery Cooperative

Parent-Child Cruising Experience 🚤

  • Time: 3:00 PM / 5:00 PM (Two boats, 10 people per boat)
  • Floating Pier in Front of Motobu Fishery Cooperative
  • No pre-registration; reception at the floating pier in front of Motobu Fishery Cooperative.

Special Event: Fishery Cultivation Center Tour 🐟

  • Time: 11:00 AM / 2:00 PM
  • Capacity: 30 people per session (first-come, first-served on the day at the tour location)
  • Location: 853-1 Oohama, Motobu Town (Okinawa Fishery Cultivation Center)
  • Content: Tour of the fish, sea urchin, and shellfish cultivation facilities

  • 300kg of mozuku will be prepared; ends when depleted.

Marine Sumo Wrestling Competition 🥋
